4   Link   Northumbrian Pipers Society
The Northumbrian Pipers' Society was established in 1928 to promote the indigenous bagpipes of the North-East of England - the Northumbrian Smallpipes and the Half-long or Border pipes. Over the intervening 80 years, the Smallpipes have achieved great popularity, both in their home region, and around the world. The society has a membership of over 800 members worldwide, most of whom own a set of Northumbrian Smallpipes.
