1986A . The first year I came with my family and I had a stall of my own. Here I am with son Liam playing my goat headed mouthblown Leicestershire smallpipe.
1986B . I could see the stage from my stall; a wonderful rickerty canvas construction.
1986C . Members of the Whistlebinkies try out my pipes, the day after they played on the main stage. Rab Wallace on bellows blown Leicestershire smallpipes in D with the late Mick Broddick on my Italian Musa, probably in C! I am not sure if Mick had ever played a bagpipe before, but that didn’t curb his enthusiasm. Fiddle player Mark Hayward appears to enjoy Micks playing.
